Welcome to Phuket, Thailand

Welcome to Phuket, Thailand
Have you ever been to Phuket? If you’re a traveller you must have heard about this place.
I am the one of Thai person who want to recommend this place to all of you because Phuket is the most well-known and popular destination for tourism.

There are a lot of things to do and I think it would be very interesting to visit because you can relax and enjoy your holiday and also learn about  Thai culture. If you are so fed up with your job or study, I’d recommend this place and I would say that you won’t disappointed to be here.
It’s the best season to go is in summer which is in April-August because the weather is very warm and you can spend a wonderful relaxing time over here.
After you arrive in Bangkok, there are 4 ways to go to Phuket ; by bus, train, hire a car and plane. Of course I’d say going by plane is the easiest way to get there.

I believe that maybe you know about Phuket FantaSea,don’t you? It’s the best attraction which you cannot miss when you come here. The aim of show tells about Thai culture. The theme is about reconstruction of ancient Thai stone palace that foreigners can learn more about my cultures. The animals performance is an illusive attraction for all of tourism such as the elephants dancing. If you want to buy some souvenirs for your friends or family you might like to go shopping. There are a lot of inexpensive things along with hand made stuffs. Other interesting thing is Thai-style buffet such as a traditional food which is similar to the food in the original recipes. I’d recommended this one because it is absolutely delicious that you never been before, I guess!

It is located on Kamala Beach, approximately 23 kms (14.3 miles) from the airport by car and it will take about 30 minutes to get to the park, The park opens everyday except Thursday from 5.30-11.30pm and show time is at 9.00pm, Additional show time are 7pm and 5 pm on busy day. The price for the tickets are different.
- Show with buffet 86$/adult and 77 $/child, The show without 68 $/adult-child.
-Buffet dinner only 36 $-adult-child, Infant under 4 years old is free but will not be provided with theatre seats

There are lots of activities for you to do. If you prefer to spend a relaxing time on the beach, Patong beach is the most popular and well-developed beach but if you love exciting activities, going diving is a nice idea to be here. As Phuket is long recognized as one of the world’s top 10 diving sites. How exciting to be here?, What do you think?

There is a wide ranges of accommodation from luxury hotels for wealthy people until backpacking, hostel and motel for economic class that are waiting for you to choose when you want to come here. It depends on your budget, I’d say. This is the website that you can have a look and choose that which one is suit you.

Review : Man Vs. Wild

Have you ever heard about the TV programme known in NZ as “Man vs wild” before? It is also called “Born survivor-Bear Grylls in United Kingdom or ultimate survival in other countries”. It is a survival TV series on the discovery channel and on channel 4. The series is produce by British television production company Diverse Bristol.
I have been watching this programme on channel 70, SKY TV www.skytv.co.nz, and all new series on www.primetv.co.nz on Sunday 7.30pm
Bear Grylls is the main character in the series.
The basis theme is that Grylls’s going to somewhere away from civilization and he shows his effort to survive in extreme conditions such as in uninhabited islands or the deserts where nobody live over there or maybe yes, I am not sure. He’s got only a knife and his backpack when he is going away so he has to find and hunt for food and drink. For example, there is the scene that he was on the island and he got nothing to eat so he just climbed up to the cliff and tried to find things to eat and drink. Then he found some dirty water in a small pond, he drank that water and said ”This is the way to survive when you’ve got nothing”. Somehow he found a bird eggs and he stole the eggs and ate it like that, they’re raw!
To be honest, I do like this programme in some way such as when he tried to do difficult things to save himself. Such as he built the shelter to stay in at night . Sometimes he sleep on the ground and use the wood to make a fire place for save himself from snake and dangerous animals. However, I don’t really like when he eat or drink something raw and dirty like drinking his urine or eating slugs, larva or camel testis.
I can understand about the reason why he decided to do like that in the way to survive but if possible I prefer to just stay home and watch TV but I don’t want to do like that.
If you’ve never seen this programme, I’d like to recommend this one because I think it is a nice programme that you mustn’t miss! Actually, it is very interesting TV programme or even unbelievable for someone. Maybe if you love this programme like me or you don’t like it at all, let share our opinion about him and his experience in my blog.

Here is his photo in some episode.
